I love the very mean nick-name his colleagues found for our minister of foreign affairs: Condorsay which is a play on word between Condorcet (a famous french mathematician, philosopher and politician of the XVIII century - see Wiki) and Con d'Orsay, the Quai d'Orsay being, as you well know, the address of the French ministry of Foreign Affairs - I leave it up to you to figure out what "con" can mean...
