Iris pourpre
I was married to an eye doctor and each year I would draw a picture for our New Year greeting card.
This project was never used and I had forgotten about it until yesterday when I found it in my sketch book. I also forgot if the poem is my own creation or stollen from someone without reference to its creator (both possibilities are equally probable). Anyway, it's a lame poem and it is the reason why the drawing was never used.
