SIR - I was slightly amused by your description of the increasing confrontation between America and Iran, which you reported to be caused in part by the latter's "meddling" in Iraq ("A countdown to confrontation", February 10th). In the interests of balanced journalism, what world would you use to describe the actions of the United States in Iraq?
